I am saving up for an epiphone les paul that is costing me enough already without the amp. i was wondering if my sister's fender bass amplifier could be used with it or if i have to shell out more money on an expensive amp.

A: Bass amps are good for all. I'd suggest getting a fairly good one though if you're going to use it for multiple intruments.

PEAVY IS A GOOD BRAND AND ITS CHEAP
MARSHALLS ARE GREAT,BUT VERY EXPENSIVE!
no one Amp will be able do all of those things, but a PA might if you have amp modeling. Other wise your best bet is a bass amp.
