Q: how do you take a dvd out of a dvd player if the dvd player does not work anymore?

A: if its on a computer there is a small hole around the faceplate using a straighted paper clip push it in the hole and it should push the disk tray out for you to pull it out the rest of the way, if your using a entertainment center DVD and it doesn't have that little hole you may have to take the DVD player apart to get it out. Make Sure To Have Power Off And Unplug It In Either Situation

I am trying to hook up my dvd player to my dvd recorder and I can't get it to work! I already tried hooking the dvd player "out" to the recorder "in" and the recorder "out" to the tv's "in" but when I push play on the dvd player and record on the dvd player, it says "no signal". Please help! I'm getting so frustrated!


A: Sounds like you have hooked it up right.
The problem will be that the recorder can detect that you are trying to copy copyrighted material(DVD's).

Most DVD recorders will not let you copy DVD's, as you are finding out.

Copying DVD's is illegal anyway.

What type of dvd player would work best for a tv that is already a widescreen?

I am looking to buy a dvd player for my parents and they purchase d a wide screen tv so when you play dvds or watch tv it tends to stretch out the picture. Is there a dvd player that takes this into account or does it matter?


A: There is a common misperception that the screen should be full. Not so. I have three out of region dvds that wont play in my dvd player. A friend of mine told me a sony dvd player would play out of region dvds, but I want out side opinion. Please help me!
I should add that my three out of region dvds are from Australia and my curent dvd player is a dolby.


A: I bought a Coby from Sears for $99.00, 5.1 sound (250 watts) and an option to select multiregion DVDs in the menu. One option showed automatic, so it could be set to interpret the DVD from any region, and play it.
