A: Why would it? You're adding a 4 channel amp that will clean up the sound and filter out bass anyway. So no. Don't worry about the wattage on the amp, just turn your gain levels down a little and adjust your high pass filter on the amp to around 100-125 Hz to limit the amount of bass to the speakers and you should be okay. Just double check though, sometimes the tweeters and woofers in the doors run separately to a amplifier in the factory, and if they aren't actively crossed over...

I would say that the first place to start would be the ground. Make sure that you have a good ground an that the cable is not anymore than two or three feet long(the shorter the better.) Also the gage of the ground is important sounds like you have a lot of power so you are going to want to go with a pretty large Gage wire.
well its in protection mode, so what i would do is unplug rca and speaker wire. turn on the car and see if that red light is still there, if it is than check you fuse on the amp and under the hood, if both good than your amp is bad. if you take out the rca and speaker wire and you turn on the car and it shows green than plug in the rca if the rca pops on the red light than you got a problem with your rca if not than plug in your subs, now if the subs pop on the red light than you got a...
