Kicker Subwoofer
Q: I have a 15" kicker subwoofer and it is too big for my car. What smaller speakers can i get that have the about the same rms but are smaller and around the same price?
A: there are a lot of subs that you could get to replace it but chances are regardless of what you do, it will not hit as hard because RMS wattage is important but it does not have as much as an effect on SPL as surface area (15inches of it) so even if you got a sub that cost twice as much and could handle more wattage you may still not have the same output as the one 15 (plus its square which adds to the surface area)

Check out the Kicker CVR dual 12"s. They put out a combined 800 watts rms @ 2 or 4 ohms, and they pound!
To the post about cone area..........
Cone area isnt everything. Cone displace (cone area * xmax) is alot more important then cone area. What good is alot of cone area with no throw. Also, he is going to have better performance with a pair of 10's in a proper enclosure then a single 15 in a shit enclosure.
Moving on to the real question, whats your budget? What kind of air space do you have? Its realy hard to help you when you dont post much info.
