OMG! The comment below me is horrible!!! DO NOT EVER buy sony xplodes! They are the worst subs out there!!! The best subs around are

- Rockford Fozgate
- JL Audio
- MA Audio
- Infinity


OKAY:
- Pioneer
- MTX
- Memphis
- Pioneer

TERRIBLE:
- Sony Xplode!!!

There are so many speaker manufactorers now for car audio, and I have not heared of them. I would stay with name brand company so that when you need help you can call them. MTX, JBL, JL, Infinity are some companies that have been around a long time and dependable.

No, and you're getting a lot of, sorry to put this bluntly, crap advice from young ones here.

Kenwood, pioneer, rockford fozgate, MTX are all entry level equipment. If you're looking for at least middle of the road go get JL's. Something better yet, take a listen to the Boston Accoustics. Here's a decent rule of thumb, if best buy sells it, you don't want it. One quality sub is a lot louder, lower and cleaner sounding than two crap subs.
