A: I would stick with the Rotel. I haven't been blown away by anything NAD for quite a while. You could also look at Adcom, Parasound or Outlaw Audio...
Multichannel Amplifier
Q:
A: I solely depends on what you have in your car. Subwoofers run much better with monoblocks, speakers with multichannels, and the two channel can go either way. For better sound quality get a multi channel amp for the speakers, and a mono amp for the subs. Amplifiers are horrible for cars if they put out enough power because they kill batteries and take away a lot of energy and power, especially with your alternator.

to be less technical, a mono is good for a subwoofer alone, a two channel can be used for 2 speakers or sometimes bridged for a subwoofer, and a multichannel would be used for either 4 speakers or 2 speakers and a sub, it all depends on what you plan to do with it, in my car i have a mono amp for my sub and a multi for extra speakers n my hatchback...
Depends on what your doing. Mono amp= sub woofer. Two channel= two speakers. Multichannel= Several speakers, or even a sub and a couple of speakers.
