My mixer shower that runs from the combi boiler is severely leaking. Any advise on how to fix it?

Q: My mixer shower was in use and then can't be turned off now. It is on for a good few hours but don't know how to stop it. Have stopped the mains water supply but need to get water back on in the rest of the taps. Is it very difficult to fix? Is it very difficult to install a new mixer shower? Much appreciate any tips and advise.

A: this could be a couple of things really the seal inside the tap might be broken. second thing could be that thread on the actual tap could be broke. To be onst unless you know what your doing the best bet would be to get a local plumber round the normally wont charge anything just to have a look.

A: I would definitely buy the Karaoke mixer if you plan on using it for Karaoke. A "live music" mixer is more of a general use mixer used for mixing a band or music group. A "live music" mixer may not have all the features you want and it may be way more complicated than you need for Karaoke.

I know the basic definition of creaming butter and sugar in a cake recipe. I would like to know if that has to be done by hand or if it can be done with an electric mixer. If done by a mixer, what speed should the mixer be on?


A: You can do it either way, but the electric mixer is easier (although, I often use a big wooden spoon and an earthenware bowl for a change of pace). If you're using a hand-held electric mixer, use the medium speed until the ingredients are light and fluffy. A stand mixer has more power, and you can go a bit higher with the speed (just be sure to scrape down the bowl.)

I do not have the money to dish out yet for a heavy duty mixer. I need to make a birthday cake and need to use the buttercream recipe. I just do not know if I can use a hand mixer instead of the heavy duty! HELP!
