Can you buy AA battery chargers which charge an odd number of batteries?

Q: I have several battery chargers, all of them insist on charging batteries in pairs. I have some devices which run on 1 or 3 batteries, is there a charger which can charge these without first draining another battery to complete a pair?

A: If you are in Canada; Canadian Tire, they have a "Noma" brand charger.

It is the best charger I've ever purchased. It takes all sizes of battery (up to 8) and will charge singles.

I've purchased mine a few years ago, and I don't use any other charger, and it is ALWAYS busy charging batteries.

A: how about return them to the manufacturer? For sure they'll know what to do with them. You may also search for local organizations in your area which have causes as you.

I'm gettin g a Wii for Christmas, and see these seperate Remote battery charger stations all the time. Does the wii system come with something to charge the remotes/batteries, or does Nintendo just assume that you'll buy new batteries when they die? How long do the batteries last and how much do they cost? thx.


A: NO it does not come with a charger. Wii remotes work on normal AA batteries. Nintendo does just asume you'll buy new ones when they die.

WII REMOTES CHEW UP BATTERIES. They die really quickly. If you ask me, it's an investment to buy a charger.

Make sure you get the good kind (the ones with the stand), the others are ripoffs.

Wiii remote chargers cost under $30. It's an investment, if you ask me.

A: They 'recharge' normal batteries by using very low current and pulsing it. The time on and time off are different so that the batteries are not overheated which causes explosions. Hope this helps.
