I want it for the sentimentail value of it. I have a digital camera so it wouldnt work like that... Were can i buy something like that?

A: I agree with Pooky. It's only that fast in the video. In real life it takes a few minutes for an instant picture to develop. I think the second link is the camera in the video clip. It's the Polaroid I-Zone. Like Pooky said, getting the camera is easy. If you manage to find the film, it's expired (see last link).

Even with DSL speed, it was taking so long to get to that spot--so I never saw what the camera was.

So you know, if it were Polaroid--all their instant films are being discontinued. Don't waste your money buying a camera that you can't get the film for. Polaroid is not known to be inexpensive (cheap, yes, but not inexpensive, if you know what I mean). This is another reason they have gone bankrupt.

I really would like a new instant photo printer camera from Polaroid.

I know they have their portable printer but what about a camera that gives you photos right there.


A: Due to demand from police, insurance and similar fields (who were fairly dependent on Polaroid instant cameras) after the termination of Polaroid's instant film, Fujifilm will be releasing their Instax instant camera and film line in the US starting later this month.

(Note that the Fujifilm integral system, Instax, is not directly compatible with Polaroid equipment, it is a seperate film & camera system)

Can I use Polaroid Platinum 600 film in a Polaroid 600 instant camera?

I have borrowed an old Polaroid 600 instant camera. It's blue with a yellow accent button. I have been unable to locate an instruction manual from Polaroid. I am going to use the camera to make a photo guest book for my son's graduation party and will need lots of film. I am wondering if the Polaroid 600 Platinum film works in this camera or if I have to buy the regular 600 film. I can get the Platinum quite a bit cheaper than the regular. Thanks in advance for your help.


A: The Polaroid Platinum 600 film will work in any 600 type camera. In researching this question, it appears that many places online are featuring the photos of the Platinum boxes but shipping standard 600 type film.

What's the difference? The Platinum film is a slightly different emulsion, originally formulated for the Spectra line of cameras and then brought to the 600 cameras.

Since Polariod film is no longer going to be in existance, I'd like to find another "instant develop" camera. How much does the fujifilm instat develop cameras cost? the cheapest one? and where can I find one?
