I know that magnets can destroy data on disks and hard drives and that they recommend that film not be put through the airport's x-ray machine. However, I'm making give-away bags for some kids that have a single-use camera and a magnet. Will the magnet affect the cameras at all?
A: You gotta go with Beths answer as the best! Thats FUNNY! But the answer is no. It's film, so it is an actual image, not magnetically saved data. Light hurts film. And large magnets falling from the sky.

No, you take the whole camera to the developer and they will remove the film themselves and develop it. it's made so that there is no messing around with films or anything, just start taking pictures and then when it's finished take it straight in to the developers
they are very easy to use, no you don't throw it away you take the whole camera in to be developed you can take it basicly anywhere that developes film (walmart, walgreens k mart) hope you have a fun vacation
You take pictures......when there's no more space in the
camera, its time for you to take it to a developer, (Wal- Mart,
Walgreen's, etc. They then will remove the film propiately,
you dont remove the film because then the film will be
exposed to light and therefore the film wil be ruined. After the
developer removes the film they print the pictures, you then
go pick up the photographs....
