Q: Hi,
I'm searching for what digital photo frame to buy I've researched a lot and these two seems be on my top (unless you have other recommendations)

Its between
Kodak EasyShare M820 8-Inch Digital Frame
or
Sony DPF-D80 8-Inch LCD Digital Photo Frame (Black)

I really don't know. I went to best buy and both quality looks fine. I like the sleek effect on the Sony but I heard if you fix photo's up on adobe you'll get a...

You definitely want the sony because it has enough internal memory store up 500 pictures and the calendar + clock + pictures makes it a nice desk digital frame to have; not to mention the sleek black design of it and the advantage of setting the frame in landscape or portrait makes a difference

Out of 1400 pictures 5 very important photos do not show on the photo frame but instead there is an queston mark in its place. I have read that it is because they were altered JPEGs, but i simply scanned them and did nothing else. What is weird is these photos are from the same batch and are all black and white.

Will this be sorted out if I change the file type to for example bmp?? Or do they need re-scanning (I hope not as haven't got a clue where the pictures are...


A: can you view the pics with any other software? if not the pics may be corrupted. If they are I would search on google for programs that try and fix photos. As for the changing file type why dont you just try it and see?

My mother wants a Digital Photo Frame for Christmas that is compatible with a Sony Memory Card. Are ther certain brands of Digital Photo Frames that accept all memory cards or are some of them specific? Please help!


A: No, they are not. In fact Sony is the odd one out with the memory stick, all other cameras/gadgets use one of the other formats.

Many frames accept a multitude of formats, but you'll have to research carefully to make sure the frame is compatible with the memory stick.

When i downloaded photos onto it they were really poor quality. Does anyone know why?
When i put photos taken with my digital camera from the computer using an SD card, onto the digital frame, the quality is really poor. Does anyone know why?
The camera that i have taken the photos with is 7 million pixels, not a mobile phone camera, i store the photos on the computer.
