Q: Im looking at getting 4 Boston acoustic speakers...2front speakers will be component, back will be coax. Deck im going with a panasonic. One thing tho do i need a amp for my speakers? thats something i am confused about. And last for my Sub im getting 3 10'' JL audio, and for the amp im getting a Memphis.
Here are the models:

Boston Acoustics
SX 60's and SX 65's

Amp for subs
Memphis PR1.500

A: You would have to know the specific RMS (average wattage rating) for all of your speakers that you plan on trying to power off of your deck. Boston Acoustic component and co-ax speaker will probably require or be able to handle much more than what your deck can provide. Without knowing the specifics, I would still recommend a good 4-channel amp hooked up to the low outputs (RCA's) from your deck...something that can provide roughly 75 watts per channel or more. i would change the components to MB Quart, for the front only. if you can afford a good 4-channel amplifier, do it man. it will improve the sound quality, clarity, and loudness of your speakers by alot. believe me.

not a huge fan of panasonic, but if you like em go for it. but check out pioneer premier decks. they have high volt power on their RCA's which give better sound quality with less distortion at the amp.

So I have these 2.1 audio system cyber acoustic speakers, they have a 12 watt sub woofer and 2 satellite speakers. I payed 20 dollars for them on sale originally 30 dollars, and I want to sell them to my cousin. The sound quality is quite excellent, and they are in excellent condition, but used. I feel that 5 dollars seems like a scam. What would your opinion be for a decent price to be sold at?


A: $10 seems fair. He saves 10, you lose 10. $5 is not fair to you. I agree 75% depreciation is too much. And $15 would be too little a bargain for family.

why or why not and believe me mine cranks heres what i have feel free to boast about your system too. list your componnents im curious.

this is my 2 chanel set up

amp- Onkyo M-282 2 x 105 watts per channel into 8 ohms trust me that might seem low to you but thats a true 105watts and its high current which means i have a transformer which gives me powerful rich sound.

speakers- KEF IQ1 bookshelf's

Power Handling: 10 - 100 Watts...

Could someone give me a basic intro into car audio setup?

I'm looking at swapping out my car's factory audio system and starting from scratch- but I have no clue as to what components are needed and how to set them up. What I would like is a crash course in car audio, and suggestions for good speakers, wires etc- I have a little electronics background so I shouldn't have any problem understanding any wiring/electrical issues. I'd like a more acoustic setup if possible.

It will tell you what radio fits your car without modification.
What tools U will need plus detailed instructions.
Most importantly get a wiring adapter that allows you to connect the new radio to the existing wiring harness. Good Luck!
