I have switched my rear speakers with my front speakers out of the Bose Acoustimass 10 subwoofer. The rear speakers work. I can't get them to work in the channel they are supposed to work on. I have switched out my Sony receiver for a Harmon Kardon amp and they still don't work. Could it be the input that will not signal to a surround sound output? I guess I can change the input to the Acoustimass system on the back of the amp to make sure it isn't the speaker system itself....
A: The rear speakers deliver some dialogue but mostly serve to deliver disscrete sounds and special effects that help expand the sound stage.

Which means that the Acoustimass is repsonsible for sending the rear surround data to the speakers.
This either means that you don't have the module hooked up right or that the source you are playing is not 5.1

I don't think you'll get ripped off (again anyway IMO), because there is definitely a market for Bose stuff with the general public. If you sell on a place like Craig's List, ask 50-60% of what you paid for it and you will get offers.
eBay is a great market for selling Bose. Although a risk, if you offered up your Bose gear on auction starting at 1Вў with no reserve, you will get bids and you may even get more than if you put up a reserve price to start. This...
