Q: im about to but one for $250 but i want to know what effects does it have and is it good at all

Denon, Marantz, Zero, Little Dot mk IV

I prefer a denon but im open to other suggestions. I'm trying to put together a very decent system. So far i have a great 2 channel denon integreted amp.A pair of axiom bookshelf speakers and sub,175 watts. Im looking for a warm sounding cd player with great sound stage , clean lows and crisp but not annoying highs.Any suggestions?


A: I just recently purchased a ( Bose.) Radio&CD. playr and the sound is realy grate, Cost around £ 500, but you get wot you pay for.

i want to set-up a quality sound system. i bought 201 bose speakers, and i got denon amplifier. im currently using my pc as my cd player. Will it make a difference if i buy a dedicated cd player? will it also matters if i buy an expensive one? my current understanding is that it doesn't matter, as long as the digital data from the cd could be translated to analog. please help me understand further. thanks.


A: I personaly think that the difference is very slim (i tryed it with my sound system and a friend laptop the other day) and that if your pc has a half decent sound card it should work fine regardless however you can also use any dvd player as a cd player as a afterthort if you dont wanna use your PC
