A: Great questions! First, let me say this - don't budget yourself by thinking you need to get everything all at once. Go ahead and get the receiver and enjoy your front speakers (I like Infinity a lot!) Televisions do not ordinarily have power audio outputs. But many have "line" outputs, suitable for feeding a tape deck, amplifier, or other gear. If your speakers have built in audio amplifiers, as many intended for computer use do nowadays, you could use these. You will probably need some adaper gadgetry to go from the TV's RCA audio output to the three-pin plug speaker input.
