How to turn the bass off the gpx portable cd player?

Q: i just got a gpx 60-sec anti-skip cd player and i cant figure out how to turn the bass boost off i lost the manual and i cant stand the bass boost if anyone has one or knows something about it type back please thanx

A: around the edge of most CD players there is a slider button for bass boost. hold it sideways and go all around the edge. there should be volume, headphone, line out, AC in and bass boost

CD Player Error?

I have a GPX Portable CD Player and when ever i put in the CD when its done loading it says Er (Error). Is there a way to fix it?


A: I had that problem too. The CD was not burned correctly, or if it is a normal CD maybe it is too scratched up. It could be the CD Player dosen't support the CD. Try another CD to see if it is your player.

My Energizer Rechargeable aren't working in my portable CD player, why?

MY CD Player is a GPX Model CDP3104, it powers on with the 2500 mAh NiMH Energizer Rechargeable batteries, but the CD will not spin, what seems to be the problem?


A: try the batteries in something else, it something else doesnt work then your batteries are at the end of its life, rechargables have a lifespan of about 100 charges sometimes 50 if theyre cheap, otherwise its you cd player

I took matters into my own hands in repairing a portable DVD system manufactured by GPX. The player in question is model number PDL705. I have managed to restore functionality of the lithium battery, but another problem persists. Whenever I place a CD or DVD (doesn't really matter which) I get a check disc error. The player doesn't seem to load the disc period. This particular player was manufactured in September of 2005, if that helps any. Any clue as to what is going on? Thanks in...
