What is the best way to clean an album prior to using ion usd turntable to get best results?

A: Hi.There are 2 ways to clean a Record.

[1] Buy a Professional Record Cleaning Machine or
[2] Do it yourself with chemicals and brushes.

The cheapest machine is The Nitty Gritty model 1.0 which is operated manually.

.I cleaned all of my favourite LPs with chemicals and velvet brushes from an article in one of the Australian HI.FI Magazines.. Then i bought a lot of Records on eBay and decided to buy the Nitty Gritty Record Cleaner.

A: I have the Ion USB turntable too.

Technically the quality should be the same.
Using the "1/8" Stereo Input" on the turntable, the circuitry in the turntable is converting the Analog signal to Digital. At that point, the USB simply transfers the digital data into the computer.

If you use the 1/8" input on your Soundcard, then the soundcard converts the Analog to Digital. At that point the internal 'PC Bus' has the digital data.

Day 031/365 2.18.2010 - Old Is New

I think I have the record system down, but I'm not really sure. I have about 200.. vinyl records that I want to convert into digital recordings and save them in Windows Media Player.

I need some SERIOUS help.
