Has anyone reviewed Klipsch RS52 surround speakers?

Q: Has anyone used or heard anything about these speakers? Good or bad. I am looking for surrounds to match my Klipsch front towers.

They use Klipsch in most movie theaters, so it must not be that overrated.

A: Klipsch are WAY overrated!!! Go with Infinity Primus bookshelf speakers for your rear and center speakers. They also make a awesome powered sub.You will spend half the money.

The Klipsch speaker is a Cadillac of speakers, very good quality and reliability. This is a reference speaker which is even high than the normal lineup. Demo the speaker at Best Buy Magnolia store, this is the higher end of best buy products on audio and video line. I use a Klipsch speakers fo my bedroom the Quintet 3, it's a small and ideal for it.

Why does my surround sound speakers only give background noise when sound is about to start?

I have 5:1 surround Klipsch speakers hooked up to my computer via an optical cable, and I can't figure out why the sound is only giving off background noise when a sound is about to happen. (Usually it cuts off the first second of it too). Then the speakers shut off automatically until a new sound is about to be played.

Klipsch SS-3 surround speakers. Are they any good??

I have a friend of mine that has a pair of them, brand new still in the sealed box. He wants to sell them for $150.00. Are the speakers any good? Or should I spend the extra $150.00 and get a set of Klipsch S-2'S for around $300.00 or so dollars. Or should I stay away from Klipsch all together and get something else? I'm really new when it comes to home theater.


A: The ss-3's are a steal at $150 new!

Depending on what type of speakers you have up front, they may overpower a smaller set.

Klipsch are good speakers, be sure to use good speaker wire, and you'll love them!

What type of receiver and speakers for a nice stereo/surround system?

I am looking for a nice stereo set. I would use it for surround sound and to listen to rock music. I would like a suggestion on a receiver to get and some floor speakers. I hear that acoustech and klipsch or pretty good speakers. What else would I need to have a good surround with nice clear treble and bass. Should I get some bookshelf speakers and subwoofer to go along with these? It would not have to be anything that would shake the walls either.


A: To be perfectly honest I worked in CE for 11 years selling all brands of popular stereo equipment. All Brands! The best for the money... Pioneer.

Sony is ok, but the sound quality is'nt quite there.

One of the worst... BOSE. Overpriced and over advertised. Quite honestly the sound quality gives me a headache. No midrange.

Klipsch... Over priced.

Jamo... Verry good.

Polk... over priced, not too impressive either.
