How do I turn off my built in tuner for a samsung 22 in tv?

Q: I think that is the reason why my direct tv looks so blurry now. I make sure it was not the direct tv, because I remembered I was pressing some buttons before it turned blurry and I just need to know how to turn of the turner or how to reset my tv if it is possible, or how to fix it. It is a Samsung 22" Class LCD HDTV with Built-in Tuner

A: You don't turn off the Tuner....you Switch INPUTS.

For the best picture, use the HDMI connection to your Direct TV, the 2nd best input connection is the 5 wire COMPONENT connection , and IF you like your signal delivered in LOW DEF format, try channel 3 on your tuner or the 3 wire RCA COMPOSITE connections.....

Consult your instruction manual for pictures of these connections.

How do I hook it up


A: there are only 2 methods to connect HD to your HD ready display. 1. is with an HDMI connector, this passes digital video and audio and is the simplest way to go. If your HD ready set is older, it might not have the HDMI connection, then go with method 2. This requires 5 RCA cables, 2 for stereo audio, 3 for component video. The component video is usually marked Y, PB, PR, be sure that you make corresponding connections to both devices or the color will be reversed.

why doesn't my samsung lcd's digital tuner catch cbs HD and abc HD? It only catched nbc HD, and fox HD, and kpbs HD.
