Which Microphone should I use with a Sharp Minidisc recorder?

Q: Model number: MD-MT15.
Please help!

A: Depends on what you want to do with it. I'm assuming it has a mic input? What type of jack? Is it balanced or unbalanced?Your instruction sheet should tell you. If it has a mic input, you can use whatever you want. Cardioid is directional, omni isn't. A dynamic type can be a bit more "warm" in sound, a condenser wider in range and brighter. Like I said, it all depends on how you are going to use it and how much you're willing to spend. Check out a Radio Shack store....

Why can't a minidisc recorded on a Sony Net MD MZ-NE410 playback on a Sharp minidisc player model MD-MT15?

Written by Rhapsody-in-the-Rain! | Saturday, January 28, 2006

A: The problem is most likely to be due to the mode you transfer your files on to the Sony NetMD. The sony might have the fature called MDLP (Minidisk Long Play) and the Sharp does not, hence any MD recorded in LP2 (Long Play 2) or LP4 will not playback on normal players.

Does the Sharp MiniDisc MT15 have a longplay?I can`t find info anywhere:( Please if you know, tell me?

A: You would be thinking of MDLP but this unit doesn't support that format of minidisc. Check the website...
