What happens when I play a DualDisc CD on my sony portable CD player or regular stereo?

A: It will be cheaper to buy a new one than to get it fixed. VCRs, DVD players, even some televisions are so mass produced and cheaply made, they've become disposable.

As far as cleaning the lens, you can buy a cd/dvd player lens cleaner at Best Buy, Target, Fred Meyer, etc. It's a disc like a cd with little fuzzy hairs on it that you put in the player and play. The hairs brush over the lens to get the dust off. Around 7 bucks.

I have the player but no power cord. It does not take normal batteries. It is useless unless I find a power cord for it. Is there a place where you can purchase cords, or will it take a generic cord of some kind? Any information would be awesome.

I have a Sony Walkman MP3 player and want a portable cd player for work but one that I can connect my MP3 player to. I bought a walfdale one from Argos but the MP3 player isn't connecting properly. Can anyone help me?
