creative zen touch mp3 player NOMAD problem?

Q: every time i try and update the songs on my creative zen touch mp3 player using the NOMAD program supplied with the mp3 player, which is a drag and drop thing basically, all i can manage to get on is one file at a time, then for some reason when i try the next file, NOMAD crashes and i have to restart to get it to work again. i really do not have time for this one-at-a-time method, i have to be at work in an hour and need some new material to listen to.
does anyone have this problem...

A: all that i can say is that maybe your creative nomad software is not compatible with your PC or if u have installed any new software or game. if u have installed something new, maybe it is using a lot of memory and not giving nomad enough memory to upload songs(drag and drop) try unistalling the new software, but if this problem is from the start, then your PC is not compatible

How do I fix my mp3 player ... it fell in a puddle of water?

My creative nomad mp3 player fell into a puddle of water. It is still playing back but all the controls are not responsive. I can only turn it on but can't turn it off (have to remove the battery). Also the lcd screen was working but it's slowly blinked out.

I've heard that letting it dry in a hot water cupboard might fix the problem.

Any other ideas?


A: Well if you hadnt contiinued to use it WET
I would have said remove the battery
and use a hairdryer on it for at least 20 mins

But now its too late
Water doesnt conduct electricity
but the stuff in water does

and now what is being left behind is damaged
circuits damaged carbon contacts and sludge
residue all over the insides of the device

You could take it apart and scrub it all down
with Isopropyl...

I have a CreAtive Nomad mp3 player (128MB). I can't plug it at any computer. My computer is not recognise it.

It is funcional. I can listen to the music i had previous on it, but...I HAVE NO IDEEA.... What can i do?
it worked before... i received it from US. i don't know where should i try to "fix"it...


A: Has it only recently started doing this - have you been able to plug it in before? If so then I don't know what's wrong with it, but mine sometimes does that, just restart your computer with it plugged in and try again, it's annoying but I think it's just windows being stupid.

well, it is in the USB port ...but...it is not recognised.....sorry
