What portable Mp3 players have crossfade and continuous play capabilities?

Q: Are there any portable mp3 players which have the option of crossfading between songs (a la Winamp) as well as the ability to play songs with no break between them?

The latter feature would be helpful, for example, with techno mixed albums where all the songs are premixed together. If playing the album in the factory order (track one, track two, track three, etc.), it is disrupting for the portable mp3 player to pause in-between the tracks because on the original cd no pause...

what does a firmware do? before I purchased my current portable mp3 player, I searched around on the internet and everyone recommended me updating the firmware. I did. But what does a firmware do? I do not notice much difference :(

How do the Mdr V6 headphones sound on portable mp3 players/ cd players?

i know that these headphones are meant for studio but do they also sound good on portable electronics such as mp3 players. Most of my songs are ripped from actual cds and are 128kb. But would these headphones sound much better on songs that are 320kb.Thanks.


A: 128Kbs? How can you even stand listening to anything at that low of quality?

Although I like some of Sony's MDR headphones, I don't particularly like the sound of the MDRV6.

The MDR line makes for great headphones for listening to portable music devices. They are fairly durable & comfortable.
My favorite is the MDRV700, they have very good sound, are pretty cheap & quality built.

i had searched in the internet for information all about the ipods and portable mp3 players , but i cant find the information that this players have bass in it .please suggest me the best one with bass .does philips gogear series have bass in it ?
does samsung YP-K3QB has bass in it ?
becoz i like to listen the songs with bass ,plz give me the required information


A: None of the media players like ipod,mp3,mp4 etc have bass or anything else to control he type of music you want to hear. All they have is Volume Control, thank god they have that at least.
