The cd always skips, and not in the same spot, so i know its not dirty or burnt incorrectly, it just stops playing like it is skipping. What is wrong with it. I burn it at the slow speed and they are cds are right out of the package. This doesn't happen with the ipod in the aux or the radio, just when I play my mp3s.
A: Try even slower speed burning - MP3's are different than regular CD audio because the deck has to convert it from MP3 in order for it to play.
If that doesn't fix it - you may need to run a head cleaner on the deck - or it may be a p.o.s. and just can't convert and play smoothly.

Run a fused (1 amp, 14 AWG) wire from a fuse in the fuse panel that only has power when the car is ON to one side of a switch. From the other side of the switch run the same sized wire to the REM (remote) connection on the amp.
This allows for full control and you never have to worry about forgetting to turn off the amp. The switch is so you can turn off the amp at will so as not to give grandma a heart attack in the car.
You can find fuse taps at any autoparts...
