can I use a portable cd player to play cd r discw in my car?

Q: I have a cd player in my truck. It does not have a cassette deck. The cd player will not play my burned cd r discs. The disc will play in other cd players though. If I buy a portable cd player that comes with the car kits could I play them with that through my car or do I have to have a cassette deck to make that work?

A: you actually can get a FM transmiter and then just tune the channel to whatever you are transmitting. i use one for my mp3 player but it works with CD players and anything else with a headphone jack

I have a Sony Walkman MP3 player and want a portable cd player for work but one that I can connect my MP3 player to. I bought a walfdale one from Argos but the MP3 player isn't connecting properly. Can anyone help me?

My husband is going on a flight on Wednesday. It is within the US and a usair flight. He is wondering if he can bring his headphones, extra batteries, and his portable cd player with him on board? He is very nervous about flying and these things help him to stay calm.


A: it should be no problems taking this stuff on the plane. security may and I repeat may not like the spare batteries but it will be up to them and if they feel like being Nazis that day.
